Features of YFR-04 Drone Airborne Radar

Tactical-level rapid response:
0.5-second data refresh rate + ±45° electronic scanning range, can instantly lock sudden threats (such as sniper bullets, FPVs).
Urban environment expertise:
Multi-band selection (X / Ku / Ka band radar) adapts to different urban clutter conditions, and the Ku-band D type can even penetrate light vegetation.
UAV coordination capability:
The 12-15kg model can directly mount medium-sized UAVs to build a “low-altitude early warning network”, and the cost is only one ten-thousandth of that of early warning aircraft.

Overview

pulse doppler radar, Ku band radar

YFR-04 is a pulse Doppler radar with a two-dimensional phase-scan system. It has the following characteristics: strong anti-interference ability, strong environmental adaptability, multi-platform deployment, and low power consumption.

Drone airborne radar YFR-04 is a rare lightweight full-phase scan radar in the world. Traditional phased array radars are large (such as AN/TPY-2 weighing 20 tons), while it is only 40kg, subverting the perception that phased arrays must be bulky.

Multi-band adaptation (Ka/X/Ku)

Ka-band (A type): extremely high accuracy (≤0.5°), but short detection distance (≥2km), suitable for single soldier or UAV-mounted ultra-short-range surveillance.
X-band (B/C type): balanced detection distance (3-6km) and anti-rain attenuation capability, strong versatility.
Ku-band (C-Ku/D type): taking into account accuracy (≤0.3°) and medium- and long-range capabilities (D type ≥8km), suitable for complex electromagnetic environments.

Lightweight design

The lightest is only 12kg (Type B), the minimum size is ≤350×350×155mm, and it can be carried by drones to achieve flexible deployment of “air radar stations”.

Ultra-high data rate (0.5 seconds)

Far exceeding traditional mechanical scanning radar (usually 3-6 seconds), and can track high-speed maneuvering targets (such as drone swarms and cruise missiles) in real time, making it a strong anti-drone radar

Azimuth phase scanning + pitch phase scanning

Using phased array technology, the beam direction can be quickly adjusted without mechanical rotation, with extremely fast response speed (data rate 0.5 seconds), suitable for high-dynamic target tracking.

Pulse Doppler + three-coordinate positioning

With both speed measurement and anti-clutter capabilities, it can accurately obtain target distance, azimuth, and pitch information, especially suitable for urban multipath interference environments.
