Features of YFR-02 Pulse Doppler Radar

Multi-band adaptation: X/Ku band radar is the main one, X band (8-12GHz) balances detection distance and resolution, Ku band (12-18GHz) enhances accuracy but is greatly affected by weather, suitable for different scene requirements.

Extended models cover omnidirectional pitch (YFR-02C-ku/D): pitch range 0°~360°, support zenith detection, suitable for urban or mountainous environments.

Fast data update: data rate 3-6 seconds, C/D type is faster, suitable for dynamic target tracking.

Low power consumption design: A/B type ≤220W, suitable for outdoor environment without stable power supply.

Low-altitude detection advantage: optimized for drones (such as DJI Phantom 4), minimum detection distance 4-10km, filling the low-altitude blind spot of traditional anti-drone radar.

Flexible scanning combination: mechanical + electronic scanning cost is lower than full phased array, but the performance is close, and the cost performance is high.

YFR-02 radar is a pulsed Doppler system three-coordinate radar with azimuth machine scanning and pitch frequency scanning, which is mainly used to detect and locate low-altitude aircraft. It has optimized for drones (such as DJI Phantom 4), with a minimum detection distance of 4-10km, filling the low-altitude blind spot of traditional drone detection radars.

YFR-02 can be used for low-altitude alert, to intercept low, slow and small targets like drones and cruise missiles, and protect military bases and borders; and for key facility such as airport/nuclear power plant protection, to monitor drone intrusion and ensure aviation safety. 

Pulse Doppler + three-coordinate positioning

Combining pulse Doppler technology (speed measurement + anti-clutter) and three-coordinate capabilities (range, azimuth, pitch), it can efficiently detect low-altitude slow targets (such as drones).

Azimuth machine scanning + pitch phase scanning

Mechanical rotation achieves 360° horizontal coverage, electronic phase scanning quickly adjusts the pitch angle, taking into account wide-area search and flexible beam pointing, suitable for complex air situations.

High accuracy radar

Range error ≤8m, azimuth error ≤0.4° (D type), elevation error ≤0.3° (D type), better than similar low-altitude radars
